Can I use the BedStory mattresses on a sofa bed?

BedStory mattresses are generally not suitable for traditional fold-out sofa beds, as most of our models—especially hybrid designs—are too thick and not flexible enough to bend or fold with the sofa bed mechanism. Using a standard BedStory mattress in a fold-out frame can damage both the mattress and the sofa bed hardware over time.

However, if you’re planning to convert the sofa into a fixed bed—for example, by laying the mattress flat on top of the opened sofa bed frame and leaving it in place permanently—then yes, a BedStory mattress can work well. Just make sure the frame can support the weight and dimensions of a standard mattress, and that it lies flat and stable without gaps or sagging.
